Whether you are planning a team meeting, a theme banquet, a sumptuous reception, or an intimate cocktail party, the InterContinental Montreal organizes each event with passion and meticulous attention to detail.

The Nordheimer building, located on St. Jacques Street, is home to 16 of the 19 InterContinental Montreal's meeting rooms. The Nordheimer, built in 1888-1889 for the Nordheimer Piano Company is, in fact, the second Nordheimer building constructed on this site after the first was ravaged by fire in 1886. Here, you will find an exhibition of pianos, desks and even the Nordheimer music hall, which was a prestigious performance space for artists visiting Montreal in the latter half of the 19th century. It was here, that audiences of long ago came to appreciate the talents of many of the stage's biggest names-most notably, Sarah Bernhardt, Caruso, and General and Mrs. Tom Thumb, under the auspices of the renowned impresario, P.T. Barnum.

In addition to three superb, unique stone vaults, the InterContinental Montreal offers 15 magnificently appointed reception rooms and multi-function rooms, accented by natural light, refined wood detailing and lush upholstery.
