MONTREAL, May 23, 2012 - Proud to launch today an exciting online contest under the culinary theme, the InterContinental Montreal continues to innovate and differentiate itself in the electronic world. The hotel offers a new adventure that will allow connoisseurs to live an ultimate experience in the company of Matthieu Saunier, the youngest Executive Chef within the InterContinental hotel chain. Food lovers, who wish to, may register on the hotel’s Facebook page and the winners will have a unique opportunity to explore the culinary side of Montreal with a renowned Chef and discover one of the best tables in the city. Entries will be collected until June 23, 2012, and the number of winners will be adjusted depending on enrollment. The lucky winners will enjoy superior accommodation in the contemporary and original decor of our guestrooms for one night. Then, on July 7, 2012, they will be invited, to take part in an exceptional activity where they will exchange with local producers in a public market and meet some of the hotel partners, which are well-known in the food industry. They will also have the privilege to discover the Chef’s exclusive secret garden, built on the Palais des Congrès de Montreal’s rooftop under the Culti-Vert project. Finally, they will prepare, under the supervision and wise advice of Chef Saunier, tasty dishes, enhanced with Provencal flavors and created with the Quebec products selected during the day. Of course, the tasting of this delicious meal will be accompanied by a selection of wines from our eclectic cellar offering privately imported wines, as well as, wines from organic and biodynamic vineyards.
