A major facelift for the InterContinental Montreal Hotel

The InterContinental Montreal Hotel is proud to announce a major renovation that will include the modernization of all interior spaces. All 357 rooms, including 23 luxury suites, the lobby, common areas, the Club InterContinental, the Osco! restaurant, and the famous Sarah B. absinthe bar will all be undergoing a makeover.
This major renovation will require complete closure starting February 1st, 2026, for an indefinite period, currently estimated at between 14 and 18 months. Out of concern for your well-being, we have decided to completely close the establishment during the renovations, rather than carrying them out in your presence. This decision is expected to significantly accelerate the pace of the work, which could otherwise have stretched for at least three years.
We are confident that these renovations will make our establishment an increasingly sought-after and enjoyable luxury destination for our distinguished clientele.
We understand that some of you have already booked stays or events with us during this time. Our dedicated team will contact you promptly to offer tailored solutions and ensure the smoothest possible transition. Rest assured that all reservations valid through February 1st, 2026, will be honored.
