A major facelift for the InterContinental Montreal Hotel

InterContinental Montréal is entering an exciting new chapter.

Since February 1, 2026, our hotel has been fully closed to allow for an ambitious renovation and transformation program. Our reopening is currently planned for the end of 2027.

This major transformation will reimagine the hotel experience as a whole. All 357 guestrooms, including our 23 suites, will be fully renovated, along with the lobby and public areas, with the ambition of delivering a more contemporary, refined and elevated experience.

The reopening will also introduce an entirely new restaurant and bar concept, designed to become a destination in its own right in the heart of Montréal, welcoming both hotel guests and the local community.

The Club InterContinental experience will also be completely reimagined, with a new approach and exclusive touches designed to offer an even greater level of comfort, personalization and privilege to our Club guests.

Through this transformation, our ambition is clear: to preserve the distinctive identity and iconic character of InterContinental Montréal while creating a renewed, elegant experience that reflects the expectations of today’s discerning traveler.

Individual reservations for the newly transformed hotel will progressively reopen during 2027. We invite you to follow our website and social media channels as we gradually reveal the first images, updates and exciting new features of the project.
