What are the opening hours of the reception?
The reception is open 24 hours.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is from 3:00 pm and check-out time is at 12:00 pm.

Where is the hotel located?
The hotel is located above the Montreal World Trade Center between downtown and Old Montreal. Connected to the underground city, the Palais des congrès de Montréal and close to two metro stations, the hotel’s location will allow you to discover many points of interest in the city. It is the ideal place for a business trip, a cultural getaway or a family vacation.

Transportation

How far is the InterContinental Montreal from the airport? How do I get to the hotel?
It takes approximately 30 minutes by car from Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport to the hotel.
We offer a car service from the airport to the hotel for an additional fee. If you would like to book this service, please contact our concierges.
Cabs are also available at the airport. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle, the 747, from the airport to downtown Montreal for a lower rate.

Do you have parking at the hotel?
We have valet parking at the hotel, available at an additional cost, with in and out privileges. You can also choose the self-service option, without privileges, offered at a lower price. Please note that we do not accept vehicles equipped with studded tires.

Where can I rent a car?

Do you have wireless broadband internet?
With your hotel reservation, high speed internet is included in your room rate.

Do you have a business center?
We have a business center located at the front desk that is free for hotel guests. There are computers and printers available.

Do you have a conference center?
Our Nordheimer Conference Center provides access to banquet rooms and meeting rooms to meet all your needs. From weddings to Christmas celebrations to conferences, we offer a variety of packages for all occasions.

Do you have a club lounge?
When you book a Club InterContinental room, you will have access to the Club InterContinental lounge. You’ll enjoy breakfast and soft drinks, a selection of spirits and hors d’oeuvres between 5:30 p.m and 7:30 p.m. Club InterContinental rooms are an ideal choice for guests who want to experience the luxury of the upper floors.

Do you have a health club?
Your reservation includes access to the 24-hour fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment and a personal trainer. Our health center has a 50-foot saltwater pool, a dry sauna in the locker room and a steam room on the men’s side only. In addition, you can enjoy the terrace and its catering service. To maximize your relaxation, we offer massage sessions by certified professionals, by reservation only.

Can I exchange currency at the hotel?
You can exchange currency at the exchange office located inside the World Trade Center, located in the same building as the hotel. You can always find other exchange offices at the airport, train stations, banks and ATMs. However, we advise you to check their exchange rates in the local newspapers or on the Internet.

Can I receive a package at the hotel before or during my stay?
It is perfectly possible to have packages delivered to your name at the hotel. To avoid errors, please make sure that the contact information on the package matches your reservation exactly.

Are pets allowed at the InterContinental Montreal?
Yes we welcome pets at our hotel with certain guidelines:
– Only cats and dogs under 50 pounds are allowed in hotel rooms.
– A $40 per room, per night fee will be added to the bill, unless it is a guide dog.
– Pets must be on a leash when in the hotel’s common areas.
– Pets must not be left unattended in the rooms.
– We will be happy to place bowls in your room prior to your arrival. You will also receive a gift bag for your pet, including dog treats, a toy, biodegradable bags, a map of the best dog parks in the area and an InterContinental Montreal scarf.

Do you have pet-free rooms for people with allergies?
We clean the rooms carefully and meticulously to avoid any allergic reactions due to the presence of a pet.

How can I change my reservation?

What is your cancellation and deposit policy?
Cancellation and deposit policies depend on the offer you choose at the time of booking. You will find these policies clearly stated and explained online at the time of the transaction. At any time, you can call our reservation department for more information.

Where can I see the hotel rates?
In order to always offer you the best deal, our rates change daily. To access them, go to our website, fill in the reservation form with the dates of your next stay. You will then find our different offers and packages depending on the type of room you choose.

Do you offer children’s rates?
The InterContinental Montreal is the perfect place for family vacations. Children under 18 years of age stay free when sharing a room with their parents. Even our chef at Osco! has thought of your little ones by designing an original menu for children.

How many rooms can be booked at a time?

Are online transactions secure?
To keep your personal information safe, we use some of the best secure server software (SSL) available for commercial transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including your credit card number, name and address, so that none of it can be read anywhere else on the Web.

Why do we need to use a credit card for online reservations?
By submitting your credit card number when booking online, you are guaranteeing your reservation.

What online payment methods do you offer?
We accept credit cards from all major companies, such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Is my credit card charged at the time of booking?
Your credit card will not be charged at the time of booking, unless the offer you have selected requires prepayment. If this is the case, the hotel will take payment for your entire stay prior to your arrival.

Is my credit card charged at check-in?
We place a hold on your debit or credit card at the time of check-in. The amount of the hold varies depending on your room rate. It usually includes the total price of the stay with taxes and a deposit for additional charges. This amount is then released within five (5) days of departure once final payment is received. Depending on your financial institution, it may take up to 14 days for funds to be available in your account.

If you do not wish to proceed in this manner, you may submit a cash deposit. The receptionist will tell you the exact amount to give at check-in.

Is it possible to make a reservation on behalf of someone else?
If you are booking on behalf of another person and would like to authorize them to use your credit card during their stay, please fill out the authorization form available in the reservation confirmation.

How long do I have to cancel my reservation without penalty?
You must cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any penalties. All reservations with a deposit are non-refundable. Please refer to the booking conditions for full details.

Where can I find the booking conditions?

Are there refrigerators or microwaves in the hotel rooms?

All rooms include a mini-fridge. An additional refrigerator or microwave can be requested at an additional cost. Mini Bar ( stocked on demand)

Do you provide folding beds or cribs for babies?
We have folding beds and cribs. Folding beds are available for an additional fee.

Do you have connecting rooms?

What type of beds do you have?
The InterContinental Montreal has rooms with one king size bed and several rooms with double size beds.

Restaurant and bar

Do you offer room service?
We offer 24-hour room service. You will find the menu in your hotel room.

Does the InterContinental Montreal have a restaurant?
Our Osco! restaurant is located on the same floor as the reception. Warmth, elegance and flavor are always on the menu. And good food means good wine! The Osco! cellar has some 600 bottles, including a large selection of private imports and wines from organic and biodynamic vineyards. The restaurant is open from 6:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. You can find our menus on our website in the “Restaurant” section.

Do you have a bar at the InterContinental Montreal?
The InterContinental Montreal has an absinthe bar, Sarah B. This voluptuous absinthe bar is named after the divine Sarah Bernhardt (1844-1923), queen of French tragedy. Whether for leisure or business, the Sarah B. is the place to be for all your meetings. You can discover Sarah’s cocktails, as well as a variety of tasty Provencal bites. For a more intimate evening, you can reserve the enchanting alcove of the “Green Fairy”.

Can I enjoy the dining facilities even if I am not a guest of the hotel?
Yes, it is possible to use our restaurant and bar even if you are not staying at the hotel.
