Soirée d’été givrée

Soirée d’été givrée is a concept based on contrasts, imagined by InterContinental Montreal in collaboration with two emblematic brands, Ricard and Lillet: the splendid Nordheimer terrace covered in fresh snow, but heated by the warm and festive atmosphere of the South of France.
Summer decor, local DJ, BBQ, games and Ricard and Lillet tasting will be on the menu.

General Admission: The $30 general admission option includes a ticket, access to the terrace, local DJs, BBQ and a Ricard x Lillet tasting.

Standing table: The high (standing) table can hold up to five (5) people and includes a minimum bottle service charge of $500 (plus service charges and taxes).
By choosing the high table option, you will also have access to everything the general admission option offers (one ticket per person, access to the terrace, local DJs and BBQ and a Ricard x Lillet tasting).

Low table with bench: The low table seats up to a maximum of eight (8) people and includes $1000 in bottle service of your choice (plus service charges and taxes).

FAQ

Will the terrace be heated?

Yes, the terrace will be heated and hand warmers will be provided at the entrance. However, we advise you to dress warmly, you can never be too careful.

Should I dress warmly?

Winter boots, warm coats, hats, mittens and scarves should be considered if you don’t want to freeze! Even though the terrace is heated, in the middle of February, it is better to wear warm clothes.

How do I get to the InterContinental Montreal Hotel?

– By Public transportation #SustainableDevelopment
We are located between the Place d’Armes and Square-Victoria-OACI metro stations, on the orange line. It is also possible to come by bus. For all the routes and schedules of public transportation, visit the STM website. 

– By Car
Below the hotel is the Montreal World Trade Center parking lot located at 380 St. Antoine Street W. The evening rate is $12.50.

Where is the party?

From the hotel entrance: 

• Take the escalator or elevator to the R level.
• Cross the footbridge into the historic Nordheimer building.
• On your right, take the elevators to the 5th floor – Nordheimer.

From the parking lot: 

• Take the elevators to level P1-P2
• Cross the crosswalk. In front of you is a sign for the InterContinental Hotel.
• Take the elevators in the historic Nordheimer building to the 5th floor.

Who is the “La soirée d’été givrée” for?

For all music lovers who want to defy winter, get out of their torpor and go play outside to the sound of the best DJs in Montreal (18 years and older). 

Everything happens only on the terrace? There is no other room available?

Although the animation takes place on the terrace, a lounge room inside “le foyer” will be available to warm you up.

Will I receive a confirmation after my purchase? If so, in what form?

Of course, our Libro booking platform will send you a confirmation by text message or email, depending on your preference.

If I take the classic ticket without a table, I can’t sit anywhere?

Some adirondack chairs will be available on the terrace to rest your legs after dancing frantically.

If there are only 3 or 4 of us, can we still take a table standing for 5 or sitting for 8?

Of course! The maximum capacity of the high tables is 5 people and the maximum capacity of the low tables is 8 people. However, you can still enjoy it if there are less. 

If I made an initial reservation for 4 people, but paid for a table with a maximum of 5 people, is it possible to bring a fifth person on the night of the event?

Yes, of course, the high table for 5 people includes 5 tickets automatically. Same thing for the low table for 8 people which includes 8 tickets automatically.

Can I arrive after 7:00 pm?

You can arrive whenever you want, between 7pm and 10pm.

Will my table be reserved before my arrival?

If you have reserved a high or low table, your table will be exclusively reserved until your arrival and for all night!

If I don’t like Ricard or Lillet, can I order more traditional drinks? Like beer, wine or cocktails?

Of course, signature cocktails from Ricard or Lillet will be available, but beer, wine and classic cocktails will also be present! For all tastes, there will be some!

Can I leave the party and come back later? Can I go out for a smoke and come back?

Of course, a bracelet will be given to you upon arrival allowing you to enter and leave the Nordheimer at your leisure.

Is the Frozen Summer party accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Unfortunately, the Nordheimer terrace is only accessible by stairs and we are sorry about that.

What is your cancellation policy?

Rest assured, refunds are guaranteed in case of heavy rain or storm. Otherwise, all tickets can be refunded up to 48 hours before the event.

What is not allowed on the site?

• Alcoholic beverages not purchased on our site
• Glass containers (perfume, Mason jars…)
• Illegal drugs
• Animals, except service dogs duly identified and accredited by a recognized organization
• Firearms, knives, weapons of any kind
• Professional camera: One camera and one lens only. We give ourselves the right to refuse a lens that is excessively large. It is a • question of security. Use your best judgment.
• Excessively large costume items (e.g. reaper’s pole, kayak, ski, snowboard, etc.)
• Imitation prohibited weapons
• Chairs of any kind
• Musical instruments (including speakers and megaphones)
