Skating on the Tranquille esplanade or in the Old Port:

Located in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles, the Esplanade Tranquille refrigerated ice rink can accommodate up to 400 visitors. It’s open to all and free of charge. On the Old Port side, you’ll find another skating area directly beneath the Ferris Wheel. No skates? No problem! In both cases, you can rent equipment for the whole family on site. From early morning until late evening, take a few laps around the ice while enjoying a breathtaking view of the city.

The Montreal Giant Ferris Wheel is the highest installation of its kind in Canada, allowing you to contemplate the metropolis 60 metres in the air. Snow tubing and snowshoeing on Mount Royal

Weather permitting, the Mount Royal tubing park is a must. Built on the shores of Beaver Lake, these are the park’s only official tobogganing corridors. Prefer to hike in the forest?
