Born in France and raised in Martinique, Lucas Hadengue quickly discovered his passion for cooking. At the age of only 17, he had already graduated from the prestigious Lycée hôtelier in Tarbes, France, and continued his professional studies in Toulouse. Soon after graduation, he became one of the elite in the French restaurant community. It was only a few years later that he made the leap to Montreal. As of December 15, 2021, he is proudly at the helm of the different restaurant departments of the Hotel InterContinental Montreal as their Executive Chef.
His prodigious international career is certainly influenced by a skillful blend of the rich culinary cultures of France and Quebec. His track record speaks for itself. His reputation is well established and well deserved. Surrounded by his team, Chef Lucas likes to innovate and raise the standards to create a one of a kind gastronomic experience. His leadership and keen interest in learning new skills and techniques make him an exceptional asset in the kitchens of the InterContinental Montreal.
